The fires have merged. The fire on the north side of the canyon is growing faster than the one on the south. The one on the south continues to slowly move east and burn forest along the old trail we took.

The fire has burned to the approximate location where we lost the trail in deadfall. It may make it all the way to Redwood Meadow.
