Would not do Yosemite Tent cabins with a baby. The units are right next to each other and not much to accommodate a baby. The tents are canvas so the baby's crying would be heard by others.

For the money you would spend on cabins, you could buy a pretty luxurious tent and disperse camp on FS land, and have the entire area to yourselves. Car camping can be quite civilized with the right gear. Some FS campground sites are also quite spread out. Get a tent you can actually stand up in and use a pack-and-play for the baby. Pick good weather and a time when there are no mosquitoes.

Another thought is to rent a trailer. This is not cheap but you are enclosed and if you choose a campground that has fairly spread-out sites you will not cause anyone to be upset if your baby cries.

Thanks for the recommendations, Daisy. Appreciate that. We may need to be in the market for a new tent after all.
