Re: RIP Vaca Russ
Such awful news, I’m at a loss for words. Never met him personally, but felt to have known him through his many contributions here. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends

Oh, and Russ loved his girls, and they loved going along with him.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

So sorry to hear this. I hadn't met him either but enjoyed his many posts. Prayers out to his family and friends. RIP Russ.

That is how I feel also. He was in a beautiful place, doing what he loved, and that makes me happy. Russ always had "fun facts" for me regarding place names which I always love hearing. I will have to do my own research and pass these "fun facts" on to others myself now.oldranger wrote:At least he passed doing what he loved.

Oh no! Tell me it aint so. This is so sad as well as unexpected. This is the worst subject line I've read in a long time. I'm really gonna miss him as will we all.
