Tuolumne Meadows - 2018

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

An update...if anyone cares...
Back for the day in Mammoth (Vons)...my schedule says Monday and Tuesday off.
The water is on in TM now...6/4/18.
We open the store ...June 6th...Same with the Grill...hopefully....maybe the 8th?
BP Campground for backpackers is open...main car campground gate still locked but scheduled to open up June 8th. All is about to open (Lodge too on the 8th)...all is dry mostly and grand.
Mosquitoes are fierce!
Come on up and enjoy.
Again like last season...NO wifi, internet, or phone service (so far) in the Meadows...probably not gonna be any all season too...(just the way I like it!)
Meadows are still amazing!
Eat your hearts out...ha ha!

Friday is June 8 ;-)

Will likely be up there for a meadow burger Wednesday Aug 8 or Thursday Aug 9, before I head south for few weeks of walking the sky

Awesome news, Thanks Mark. I will be coming to visit Harry as soon as I can...cabin 16 I believe. I will stop by Costco and drop a bottle of Bulleit to club med.
