Day 7 - Mount Gould, Falcor Peak, and Snow Crown:
https://vimeo.com/album/4738870/video/233484869
Also featured on this video is Tom Grundy climbing Nameless Pyramid. We had to watch him from the far away summit of Snow Crown, but with the zoom on my video camera, I was able to get in pretty tight. It would have been even better if I was at the base of Nameless Pyramid with him, but it's still pretty spectacular.

Thanks for putting these up. I'm not on Facebook so it's great to be able to watch them.

Re: Sierra Challenge 2017 Videos
No problem!
The videos are not actually on Facebook, but on Vimeo. I'm simply linking to them from our Sierra Challenge Facebook group, and basically doing the same thing here. I'm not a big fan of Facebook either, so I keep my usage of it to a minimum.
I'm adding this year's videos to this album as I upload them:
https://vimeo.com/album/4738870
All the rest of the videos are finished and ready to go up, but due to their size, I can only upload 1 per week within my Vimeo quota. Expect to see them pop up sometime on Tuesdays for the next 3 weeks. Then after that, I should have even more of my Sierra adventures from this summer (and eventually previous summers) to post. I'll do those in separate threads though.

Day 8 - Junction Pass Peak:

Not really any cool Sierra Challenge hijinx on this one, just some very pretty scenery in Center Basin. Enjoy!

Re: Sierra Challenge 2017 Videos
Thank you so much for posting all these videos! Have watched most by now, some awesome footage even if you're not a climber. Fun to live through the challenge vicariously (I probably couldn't make it past day 1) and they've helped me get some mountain fix that has been missing for me lately.

Here's the one (I think) you've all been waiting for. Day 9 - Sharktooth:
https://vimeo.com/album/4738870/video/235546401
It was truly an honor for me to be there to witness these guys climb this thing. It more than made up for not being able to reach the summit that day. Thank goodness I was not still holding a perfect record on the Challenge, otherwise I would have been under a lot of pressure to try and follow them to the top.
The video is pretty long, and just over half of it is the climb of Sharktooth itself. I didn't bother cutting out any of my footage, even though some of it is a bit repetitive. I wanted to make sure that those who did the climb got to see as much of themselves on the rock as possible. I'll be interested to know what they all think after watching this. Are they brave heroes, or foolish idiots?

Re: Sierra Challenge 2017 Videos
And finally, Day 10: Ash Meadow Peak & Slacklining.
https://vimeo.com/album/4738870/video/236594470
The hike itself was not very exciting, just a boring march through the southern Sierra. The real entertainment came when Tom got out his Slackline back at the trailhead. Most of this video shows us testing our balance with limited success, and Tom once again making something difficult look so easy and effortless.
