Hi Dave,
just wondering how your trip went and what snow/water conditions were like. I'm heading up to Aloha next week with my nephews for their first backpacking trip, so I'm eager to know whether I need to be prepared for snowy/boggy/... conditions up there. Thanks!

thanks Maverick. Update: we got as far as Tamarack lake when one of the kids took a fall on the head and we decided to turn back and have him checked out. (He was totally fine, abrasions only, but if we hadn't turned back we would have worried.) Next day we went from Wrights lake to Twin lakes for 1 night instead, which was beautiful! We didn't see any snow except some patches on the peaks high above :)
