I love how HST is my jumping off point for everything. Came here to see what suggestions were given, end up tracing Maverick's suggested routes on CalTopo, and I've been there and reading blogs on trip reports while an hour has rolled by...this is common.

Eyes, I agree. What a great site. There are so many trails, it's nice to have all this experience to give a little direction.

There are a long list of excellent itinerary choices out of TE Edison reservoir up Mono Creek and also on the north side of the Silver Divide in the Fish Creek headwaters. And also in that same zone Bear Creek areas out of the diversion dam trailhead.

Thanks Dave, I went over Silver Pass - peter Pand - Graveyard Pass last year. Very cool area with big fish. I was thinking of looping the other direction this year. Love the area, hate the drive!
