Finally posting some photos. I didn't choose these photos based on best photography. My criteria had more to do with telling the story of the hike (as much as one can in only 10 photos)...

Looking SW from the NW shore of Davis Lake.  The shoreline is so convoluted that we never saw the outlet stream until we were well below the lake.

Warren slogs up talus "where the trouble started" on the way to Goddard Creek Pass.  I found the rock fin on the left skyline to be particularly captivating.

Gorgeous little lake just below and west of Goddard Creek Pass.  Ionian Basin is only 5 - 15 minutes away, depending on your fitness level and the size of your pack.

Lake 11,951’ is surrounded by complicated topography.   We dropped into the cirque from the upper right of the photo (below that huge shoulder of Mt. Goddard).  After descending nearly to the shore, we had to work our way above the shadowed cliffs that drop directly into the lake.
