Hi- I'm planning a five day loop through Evolution Valley- entering from North Lake in the East, over Piute Pass to the JMT, then out of the valley over Lamarck Col back to the trailhead.
I'd usually think of this as a late summer route- but the only dates that will work for our family are in the middle of June. With such dry year, any thoughts on whether or not this would be passable by then? We will be above 12,000 feet on the passes. And if there's no snow- will what little there was to melt make the meadows too soggy and mosquito-filled?
Any advice appreciated!

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

I have a trip planned going over Lamarck and coming out south lake starting June 13th. I have never been over Lamarck but unless we get a big snow storm between now and the I don't think there's going to be much snow.
