Mini TR and conditions: Carson Pass last Monday

Mini TR and conditions: Carson Pass last Monday

Last Monday the route north from Carson Pass (south facing terrain) looked too bare to ski. I went south, on mostly north facing or flat terrain following this route (map link). There was little snow, but enough to ski. The day was hot. I saw a group of skiers with backpacks climbing NE slope of Elephants Back.
