Newbie
Hi. Someone who went by the name "pepperdog" at the trailtalk site told me about this site. I've been in the shadows lurking, but it's time to step into the light. I met windwalker and some of his trailtalk friends a couple of winters ago while skiiing out to Dewey Point. Unfortunately I have not seen them since. One of them slept in a grave dug into the snow. They had carved lounge chairs into the snow. They were very nice folks. I met madeintahoe several summers ago on a hike to Dardenelles Lake. She had just finished a backpack to Pioneer Basin, a place I want to visit. As you may have guessed, I love hiking/skiing in the Sierra, taking pictures of things that I see. I'm still in the stone age photographically, so my images consist of negatives. I don't have a film scanner and a flatbed does a poor job of scanning prints. I may have to resort to the flatbed in order to reciprocate. I'm enjoying seeing what you saw when you were in the Sierra.

Last year at Woods Lake. Almost finished building the igloo while the snow comes down. Good stuff.
