View of Seven Gables from the summit of Royce peak in October, 2006 I think. Later that day on the way back to Merriam Lk in an afternoon snow storm I slipped on snow covered talus and sprained my ankle badly. I ended up limping out on trail through Humphries Basin instead of heading into Bear Lakes.

Good view of LaSalle Col on the left, right above La Salle Lake, I think. Seems easy on this side, with no talus.
