I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

The trail from Rancheria is a pain with all the downed logs, but still the easiest way to get into the valley. Lots of standing fire-dead trees still randomly falling down unexpectedly between Crown Valley and the top of the switchbacks. Spooky to hear them at night.
