Good Morning zeeshan.shahid,

Desolation Wild. really is a colorful and scenic place, especially when one has it to themself in the snow. I go on most trips solo and with a dog for a partner. My erstwhile skiing partner Frank has been lost to merry old England (where he's from), and Colorado, where he may move to. Wolfie is a fine partner, and handles everything except for very soft snow, and huge boulder fields. As I mentioned, on this trip he was smart enough to use my packed ski track when his feet broke through.

Here are a few shots of my main partner over the past 9 years-- Bearzy, who died last year. :(

Dogs make very fine companions on winter trips, they never complain  .
Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.
