High Sierra Trail 6/30/25 - 7/6/25

A forum to initiate member meet-up. Looking for a hiking/climbing/fishing/skiing/etc. partner, or are you planning a trip where you wouldn't mind having some company? High Sierra Trail 6/30/25 - 7/6/25

Hello, all!

I trying to plan a trip on the High Sierra Trail starting June 30th (with a zero day on June 29th). I'd be starting at Crescent Meadow in SNP and hiking east to Whitney. I've gotten all the details worked out except for finding someone willing to give up a week of their life to go with me. I'm in the LA area and hike regularly on the weekends. Would love to meet some local backpackers who might be down to join me this summer!

Do you already have the permit reservation? I'm not personally interested, but for anyone that might be, this would be good info.
