Isberg Trail / Joe Crane Lake / Post Peak / Isberg Pass

Post by maggieP »

Looking for information on the cross-country route between Joe Crane Lake up to where the trail meets Post Peak Saddle and Isberg Pass (northwest to the Yosemite NP boundary). It looks like about 1.5mi and 1000ft; how navigable is this section for a cross-country beginner?
Thank you!

I haven't done it, but it looks straightforward. From Joe Crane lake you'll easily identify Post Pk and you'll know the pass, and trail, is just to its north.
