Today is the summer solstice

Interesting that today's solstice is early (in part due to being a leap year) but it has not been this early since the 1790's! Add to that only 2 days short of a full moon. I wonder when was the last time the solstice was early with a full moon? I am going to be camping at Ruby Lake tomorrow night and fully enjoying the nearly full moon and maximum daylight.

Iam doing a sunset to sunrise outing tomorrow to celebrate the solstice. Doing it tomorrow because I scheduled the day off from work a while back without thinking to check which day was the actual solstice, just went with the 21st as usual. By the time I figured that out it was too late to change. But since there is less than 1 second difference in the length of the two days, I am not too worked up about it. And just in case anyone wants to know, the actual moment when the sun reaches its highest inclination is 1:50 PM at San Francisco, per timeanddate.com.
