JMT through hike
I would like to thank everyone for all the great information on hiking the JMT. especially Snow-nmyph, Bsquare, and Mark the site web master. I started August 6 and finished August 22. Did not think I had time to go to Kearsarge Pass so I guess I will have to go back and do the hike again and go to Kearsarge Pass. If you would like you can read my journal at http://www.trailjournals.com/nortonorchickenfeathers
and again Thanks everyone
and again Thanks everyone

Congratulations, Don! I've been so busy lately, but I actually read the journal and looked at the pix! Great trip!

I enjoyed reading your various journal entries. Sounds like you like to sleep under the stars when possible and that's a good thing! Judging from your entries, a person could almost do the JMT, not bring food, and rely on what is left behind by other hikers! Did any bears go for your canister?
