Which topo map would be best for JMT side trips. I already have National Geographic JMT map, but it doesn't cover much outside of JMT.
I have some experience for X country travel. Is it hard to follow Wright creek up to lake 3645 or creek up to Orchid Lake?
Is there any literature available for x country side trips along JMT?

Doesn't have to be cross country. Minaret Lake, Ediza Lake, Dusy Basin, Lake Reflection, Bench Lake are all on trail and not a big detour from the JMT. Darwin Bench has a use trail braiding through it. Google some pictures, pick some side trips.fiti wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 11:25 pm Which topo map would be best for JMT side trips.
