The Snow Analyses Overlays here may be helpful as well. Not sure how accurate they are though.

Just download the latest kmz file listed by date under "Snow Analyses Overlays" and when you open the file it will open up google earth. It defaults to Snow Water Equivalent, so you'll need to change that to Snow Depth.

Here is the Shasta Web Cam - it is pretty close so you may be able to judge from that.

Re: Trinity alps snow pack
I was in Oroville today and could see across the valley to the Snow Mountain Wilderness in the Coast Range, which was very snowy. The peak of Snow Mountain is 7000 feet and Snow Mountain is 105 miles due south of the Trinities. Considering the miracle March we've had, I suspect things are pretty snowy in the high country.
In 2014 I went with some friends up to Emerald and Sapphire Lakes on May 2. However, 2014 was pretty dry compared to this year. Weaverville only got 20-21 inches of precipitation that year, while their average is something like 38 inches. Off hand, I'm not seeing the cumulative precipitation for this year, but its probably heavier than 2014.
