Looking for hiking partner - next year, 2 weeks (July-Sep)

Post by dbogey »

I'll have 2 weeks in 2018 to wander around the Sierra's and was planning on hiking the JMT but I know there are so many other places to go and explore and thought I check to see if anyone on the HST was interested in hiking with me.

I've hiked part of Ropers Route with "Bluewater" and have done the N/S Lake Loop. If anyone is interested in joining me please let me know. I fish, explore, do photography ... Just looking to get out for a few weeks and wouldn't mind the company. I'm from the East Coast (Pittsburgh)

Why don't you consider attend the 2018 Meet-up, you could start from several locations, making your trip as long as you would like, and get to meet some fellow HST members. ;)

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, a HST member: http://reconn.org
