Great TR and inspiring photos! I'm heading up next week to do a similar trip. Fingers are crossed about the smoke.

Photo 58: That's exactly where we camped our first night there. Waking up to the sound of the creek and the views of the lakes was amazing.

Great Trip Report!
What is the rough distance from Onion VAlley - > Rae Lakes and back? 23-ish miles? That sound right?
