Heavy rain is causing flooding and mud slides on park roads. Wolverton Road is closed, and Highway 180 near Grant Grove has an active flood advisory. Portions of the Generals Highway are restricted to one lane between the foothills and Giant Forest.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

The Facebook page of Kings Canyon Post Office posts daily conditions at Grant Grove. This was yesterday.
