Where in the World?
We visited several National parks in 4 states this year and had to hike to this old entrance. Which park? And what is the location of the entrance?

It's an invisible National Park. You enter from the left or West. umm, is there a pic? My guess would be Utah and the 4 corners area w/o a Pic.

I'm pretty sure that's Crater Lake, North entrance.

Bingo! The old road is now about a mile long trail from a FS trail head. We were totally surprised to encounter the old stand for the sign as we walked the trail down from the Pinnacles parking lot.

Re: Where in the World?
I was there about a year and half ago. I noticed the FS designates the old road as a trail. It appears to be open to mountain bikes on the FS part of the trail, I saw tracks shortly past the boundary sign. I thought maybe to add it to my future possible bike trail list. Have to stop at the NP boundary though.oldranger wrote:Dave 54
