Curious if anyone has been out lately to Thousand Islands lake/Banner peak. Headed out there next weekend and curious about the latest conditions.
Thanks ahead!

Also Walker Fire could have an impact on this area if the winds are blowing from the north or northwest.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

When you get back, can you comment on the water level of the two small ponds at Island Pass if you go that way? I love camping there, but if the ponds are dry due to the drought, I will need to find another spot in a couple weeks.A_Frogswamp wrote:Curious if anyone has been out lately to Thousand Islands lake/Banner peak. Hi Fly,
A group of HST members, and some other forum members, will be camped just south, right above Ediza, east of the outlet creek, in a clearing, if you are in the area (9/10-9/15), come by and say hello, early evening will be best, since we will be out searching for evidence (Matt Greene) early morning till late afternoon.
