OK, so the Caldera Cone is an efficient alcohol stove system. But why is the Caldera Cone so efficient?

nice.. I'm looking forward to some angry yellow start-up flames, followed by the emergency shut down and restart in brilliant blue :D ... or maybe on those stoves most used or wanted by this forum.

I don't quite follow you. The Caldera Cone's 12-10 burner usually starts up pretty calmly. Am I missing something?
