I shoot film. :D Those of us that shoot film don't need no stinkin' LCD or bystander to tell us when we've got a decent shot or not...

Film shooter sound more like "Aaaahhhhh!" when we previsualize (that's an Ansel Adams-thing) a good shot... So I guess that makes us pornographers?!?!? :D

That's funny. I'm pretty sure I've chimped from time to time.

OK, I'll be the chimp... er chump: I don't get it. Is "chimping" just deleting shots you don't like? Or is it showing your shot to someone else and deleting what they don't like? Or what? Fun video, but I think maybe it was a little over my head...

Reviewing photos right after capture and about the noises we make when reviewing photos we are excited about

I'm a chimper. Except when my LCD lens broke. Drove me nuts! Took a lot of photos on the wrong setting and didn't know til I downloaded them. :( But when I get a good one, I do make noises :D

I used to chimp almost every shot with my old 0.3 megapixel with only limited memory. The shots looked better on the camera's 1" screen than on the computer monitor, and I was getting too many shots of my hand when trying to get distance set on close-ups.

Many professional photographers like me, who used to shoot film, are now shooting digital because there is no cost of film and processing and since the image is already in digital format, there is no scanning involved to get the images into the computer and on the internet. I shot film (35mm, medium format, and 4X5 format) for years. I now shoot with a professional digital SLR. It doen't mean that I am less of a photographer.
