Thanks! This is my happy place that I dream of a lot this time of year. Yes, it is just above Thousand Island Lake in the Ansel Adams Wilderness along the JMT/PCT. Such an awesome area right there with Thousand and Garnet Lakes and Ritter and Banner to play on in the background! It tends to be a crowded area in peak season, though, but it doesn't bother me much.

Nelson Lake:

A lenticular type of cloud hovering over the Mt. McGee/Emerald Peak area near Goddard. Shot from Confusion Lake. We scrambled to set up our tents anticipating serious weather, but nary a drop. SEKI,
