Hi John,
Hope to make Maverick's meet-up and meet some of you.
Dave
Great to hear! Did I see a few of these photo's on FM? ;)

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Have a safer backcountry experience by using the HST ReConn Form 2.0, named after Larry Conn, an HST member: http://reconn.org

Hi Maverick,
I do post images at FM Landscape Forum from time-to-time. I may have posted these but I don't recall.

with the recent chatter about panorama stitches in the budget landscape photo thread, I gotta post one of my hack handheld panos here. this is pretty much the type of stuff I shoot stitched images for: overcome insufficient coverage of the lens I have, or capture extreme perspectives to get the view you want to convey. I rarely do those mega 360 degree super-distortion type stitches any longer. Got tired of those. Fun but not really what you see when you are actually there. This image on the other hand is about the scene you'd perceive standing at that lookout point.

4 horizontal frames with an old manual focus 20mm lens on a full frame body, stacked vertically with plenty of overlap.
