**HST Best of 2008 Contest! (post photos here)

Thought I'd get things going with a best photos of '08 contest. IIRC, we had a similar deal some years back that was pretty successful. So here it goes...
Before anything else, you should know how to post photos to this site. If you don't, please read the thread that tells you how.
FIRST PRIZE:
A Large HST Coffee Mug
plus a HST Mini Button and 2 HST Vehicle Stickers
SECOND PRIZE:
Two HST Vehicle Stickers
SUBMISSION RULES:
1) Submissions are limited to a 3 photo maximum (in a single post), per member. Member submissions may be substituted at anytime up until the submission deadline. This contest is open to all members and admin/mod staff (excluding me).
2) Photos must be Sierra Nevada related, and captured in 2008. Again, this contest is open to ANY photo subject, so long as it was shot in the Sierra Nevada in '08 and is withing the terms and rules of posting on HST.
3) Deadline for submissions is February 13, 2009.
4) When posting, clearly name each photo you submit.
NOMINATIONS:
1) Between February 14th and February 28th I will accept nominations from the group of photos submitted (by name - see importance of #4 above) to be included in the final vote.
2) Only one photo nomination per member will be accepted, and you cannot vote for your own photos.
3) Nominations will be accepted by either PM'ing or emailing your selection to me. Please include photo name and photographer name in your nomination correspondence.
4) Only the Top 10 nominated photos will be included in the final poll. It is possible a single photographer may have more than one photo make it into the final 10. If ties occur, the photo which was nominated first (time stamp of the email or PM) will be selected - so get your nominations in early!
FINAL VOTE:
1) The final vote will be conducted using a simple poll thread in this forum. Each of the 10 nominated photos will be reposted to the poll thread for easy evaluation.
2) The poll will be open for votes from March 1st through March 15th.
3) If two photos tie for 1st or 2nd place, a one week runoff poll will serve as the tie-breaker.
