Good Chance of Evening Showers - Do You Photographers Still Go?

I want clouds in the mix for my morning and evening shots, but too much cloud cover blocks direct sunlight and therefore alpenglow.
The current forecasts says there's a good chance of showers every evening.
If you're passionately chasing alpenglow, do you still go?
