We slept in and did alternate peak (Thor) instead of Mt Hale. We decided two long days back to back would be tough, plus DaveG was still feeling fluish

Thanks for the link.... I looked at it, and the previous years as well. Looks like alot of fun! The "statistic" chart showed about 30 people participating this year, and (of course) not everyone hiked every day.... did you run into many people that were also participating? In your reports you mentioned Trailtrekker and Raechel ( I saw Rachel's name on the statisctic chart also), but you also mentioned a few other names, so I'm assuming they were involved as well.

Is this the first year you've done the Sierra Challenge? I don't remember reading about this on the board before, but this sure seems right up your alley! ;)

There were 54 participants this year. Probably the biggest ever. I was #3 for the green jersey (masters!). Kinda fun being in that category! Very few females signed up for this.

day 5 - Gendarme Peak, my partner cancelled because of an injury. I decided to go for it since this was the “easyâ€

Horseshoe Meadows to Muah Mountain (11,100')

Last day of the Sierra Challenge, and the peak they did WAS a challenge. So Tomcat suggested Muah Mountain. I had the waypoint and a description in the truck. It was a nice day for a hike. (wk 82, day 3)
