Canyonlands NP??

We had to change some vacation plans at the last minute for a rapidly approaching week long trip. Now we're headed to Vernal, Utah to do a 3 day river rafting camping trip (guided) on the Green River through Dinosaur National Monument (Gates of Lodore). After that we plan to go to Canyonlands NP for a couple days and car camp in the park, at large, in the campgrounds or maybe stay at Dead Horse Point State Park nearby. Anyone got any day hike suggestions for that area?
We did a great loop a couple years ago in the Four Corners area starting at Chaco for the summer solstice, then Mesa Verde NP and spent an afternoon (spur of the moment) at Canyon de Chelly on the way home. Had a wonderful time in that part of the country. So we're going back for more this year but to new destinations.
Any help with Canyonlands NP ideas??
