Lone Pine to Central Valley

Post by OliverB »

Hey, haven't been here for a while. I am not sure how to get back to the Central Valley to get back to San Francisco. This would be in late August/early September from Line Pine. I know about CREST and getting to Mammoth is fine. I really need advice re getting over. Push to shove, I could fly but that is not ideal. Thank you all. This is really the best place for not only the Sierra, but for many other things. ~ Oliver Brewer (Sandstorm) (I hope Rick and George and Dario are still there. Love you guys.) Thanks, guys.

Like AT wrote, YARTS from Mammoth to Merced, then Amtrak to SF, about $60 total.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
