Some lakes still not frozen-flyover Jan 18

Hi folks, I flew out of foggy, drizzly, SFO at about 1130 am today (1/18) bound for Austin. The path over the Sierra revealed some lakes still not frozen and a landscape that looks more like the Sierra after a fall storm. Granted these are fairly low elevation lakes, but it is safe to say things have been a bit warm so far. I leave it to you to guess where these are, although the more zoomed in view I provide of one should be pretty definitive (speaking of bushwhacking to get somewhere...).

Looked like Pine Flat below? I skied Kirkwood last week and indeed below 6k is as bare as any of the recent drought winters. Nicely we are finally receiving some cold storms through this next week to whiten mid forest elevations though like in the fall with bare ground, what falls is likely to melt off due to warm ground temps.

This is the Edyth (Edith) area with the lower photo being a semi zoomed view. Laurel, Kibbie are clearly thawed, too, and apparently Branigan as well.
