Muir's home in Martinez, CA. I think it's a state park, too.

If I remember correctly, it is a historic site.

Mount Muir. I think it's the one he danced on all night long to stay warm when he was climbing Whitney for the first time.
And,yes, the home is a part of the National Park system. I believe it's a National Historic Site.
