thanks Ridgeline. I think I will hold off and do desert this weekend.

In April a group of us are doing Shasta. The leader wants us to start doing some specific training prior to that. Looks like we're doing a snow camp in 2 weeks in the Shepherd Pass area - with maybe even a Tyndel summit. How is that for training. I am jazzed up about possible knocking out another new 14'r this year - Shasta has been on my to-do list for a few years

Tom, what route are you doing on Shasta? Im looking for a June July trip there? How big is your group? Next time we hike I will pick your brain on this.

Ridge - I am not sure at this moment how many or even the route. right now I am a mushroom and I will be told when I have the need to know more. seriously the planning is just gettting under away - my friends from CLMRG are putting together and not sure at this time much more. at this time I have not studied any route descriptions - but you can bet I will do my homework before it becomes show-time.

Hi All,
Here's my pictures of the trip. It was a fun day with perfect weather. It was slow due to trying to stay on trail with the snow, but a great snowshoe day.
Take care.
