My brother jumping into one of Rae Lakes. His screeching when he hit the cold water attracted Emma the backcountry ranger who thought we were a troupe of boy scouts. Vintage Ektachrome. SEKI September 1986.

Close to the ranger' name. Just M! Her photo was in National Geographic sometime in the 80s when she was stationed at McClure.

El Cap and the valley towards the coastal range in early July 1989 from Half Dome, which will probably remain the last time I climbed that peak. I don't want to spoil my good memories by dealing with the 2011 crowd-controlled version of Half Dome.

Laurel Lake, Memorial Day WE (not this year). This year there are many more feet of snow there than in this pic.
