Yosemite Webcams

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Check out the Sentinel Dome cam at http://www.yosemite.org/vryos/index.htm

Someone with a good sense of humour has been up there today.

Also, the Tioga Pass cam seems to be working for the first time in a few weeks.

I was JUST on that site about an hour ago. Whoever put that up just did it.

That snowman probably has the best view of any snowman ever!

One of the posters on "Mt-Whitney, the Sierra Nevada..." site has pics of the guy putting up the snowmen; he built two of them! Must have been a hike to get there! =D>

Just saw the pictures on the Mt Whitney board. The builder must have just been out of the frame when I looked because there was only 1 snowman at that time.

Wish I was up there with them!

Trekker, which Mt. Whitney site can I find the pictures of the person putting up the snowman? I looked on the Whitney Store forum but I couldn't find it so I'm assuming it's a different board. Which one is it?
