Present Water availability in Evolution Basinb

Post by Parker3 »

I am heading into Evolution Basin mid August via Piute pass from North Lake. Wondering how much water is present. Has the drought dried up all streams etc. How is the San Joaquin River running? Thanks for any help

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

I was up there July 6, and all the streams were running, including the two intermittent ones between Hutchinson Meadow and the pass.

Would be better if you kept this all in one thread.

Just fine, well up into Goddard Canyon, massive waterfalls up there. Greater flow is coming from French Canyon, though.
