Sierra East Side in current Outdoor Photographer

Post by mountaineer »

Outdoor Photographer used this photo and text that I wrote to accompany it in their March issue, just out. It takes up a half page and is part of a larger article on "Favorite Places". Hopefully, the exposure for the Bishop area won't flood the place with people. :)

Thanks Robert...to be honest, I was surprised they chose mine to include in the article. There were far better shots to choose from in my opinion.

congrats M on getting an image in that mag

I did see your pic the other night when I went through it. Of course all climbers know that area well. There will never be a lot of traffic out there just like any of the other Eastern Sierra dirt roads as anything lacking pavement is gauranteed to scare off 90% of ordinary urban visitors.

But, they all have SUV's...don't they ever take them off the paved roads?

Thanks for the kudos everyone...kind of ironic that the image that gets published isn't even close(in my opinion) to being one of my best ones...oh well.
