Little Kern via Lewis Camp Trail

Post by coff20 »

I hiked down to the Little Kern last week. The road up to the Lewis Camp trailhead was closed, but it was an easy 7 mile hike to the top and there was very little snow on the road. There was just a little patch of snow in the shade at the trailhead, but heading down the the river it dry all along that slope. There wasn't very much snow on the mountains across the canyon, either.

Thanks for the update. Was it an overnight or one long day hike?
