"FIRE BAD!!" sorry, had a Phil Hartman moment there :crybaby:

There was snow in the area according to the web cams, but it's all still a warm storm.

I noticed smoke rising from the mountains somewhere West or North West from Isabella. So that is another.

Yes, I noticed a fire somewhere up toward Kaiser Peak (or was it Shuteye) yesterday (Friday) morning while leading a field trip on the outskirts of town (N Fresno). This was just before the storm came in. Very odd to see smoke rising from the mountains this time of year, to be sure.
Since my fishing (etc.) website is still down, you can be distracted by geology stuff at: http://www.fresnostate.edu/csm/ees/facu ... ayshi.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If not for the rain and snow who knows how much would have burned.
