I set up the tent in my back yard Thursday afternoon. Initially I thought it was a bust as the rain didn't start as early as the weather lady predicted but she is good looking so I forgave her. Around 4 in the morning it kicked in. No leaking seams and no condensation as of yet. I left the tent up for the rest of Friday and it got a good rain test.

Better to have it and not need it than it is to need it and not have it!

Funny how we post at the same exact time!

I just wrote "Did you?" down your way, some of the 10' deep debris flows with large rocks looked like it wouldn't matter what tent you bought. We only had a gentle 5" of rain in 24hrs and another inch the next day.

I did not put my tent up. She's seam sealed by me.

Glad you tested it and glad it worked. Even better if you would have slept in it!

Russ, I did sleep in it! That's how I knew when it started raining. My wife thought I was nuts.

I'm glad to hear you like the Big Sky tent. I've been looking at them for a while, but have not pulled the plug yet. Every year I usually buy on bigger item; so this year it might be one of those Big Sky tents.
