Bill, as always, a great read and wonderful photos. Your route choices always provide inspiration for possible future trips.
I don’t need a goal destination. I need a destination that meets my goals.

I just want to second LMBSGVs post. I always enjoy reading your trip reports and I have checked back many times to re-read your reports when considering a new route or a new area. Thanks for sharing your experience, it has made a big difference for me. BTW, it was good seeing the Tablelands, Lonely Lake and the passes without snow. My first trip into the area was last spring when everything was still covered.

Thanks Andy -
I just finished enjoying your Catalina Island trip report. I have a condo in Long Beach. It's good to know that there is some nifty wilderness just "26 miles across the sea."

Thanks Bill. I'm glad you liked the TCT trip report. I wish the Sierra was just 26 miles away! BTW, my wife has been a teacher for LBUSD for many years and went to CSLB.
