THANKS!

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

THANKS!

A huge thank-you to all on the board -- and of course especially to Eric -- for a superb year! I think I can speak particularly for those of us isolated out here on the right coast :crybaby: who need every dose of those magical mountains we can get. Keep it coming, folks!

I hope everyone has a fantastic 2007, with terrific trips, bags full of peaks, multiple sitings of rare and elusive animals and plants, and utterly indescribable moments of mountain magic.

Thanks again to you all!

I'll second that. I'm envious of you guys on the west coast, close to the Sierra. Thanks for letting me ehjoy the Sierra through your posts.

Ditto on that from the Pacific Northwest. We've got some beautiful mountains here, for sure, but I grew up backpacking in the Sierra and... there's no place like home. ;)
