Trip Report: With Llamas across Northern Yosemite

Post by bytwerk »

When I first started hiking in the Sierra 42 years ago I sneered at those who depended on pack animals. As time passed, those beasts began to look better.

This summer I tried llamas for the first time. The results were entirely happy. For those interested, a trip report is here:

Fun, well written TR, thank you for posting it. Happy Birthday, and have to
know, what was the dessert? :)

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

That is awesome. Thanks very much for all the info.

I kinda want to move out of the city and raise llamas.
