Merry Christmas

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Thank you to all who make this board possible.
Gives me a chance--often daily--to check in with the Sierra part of myself.
The smiles, the "ahhs..." the grief, the sense of wonder, challenge, and expanse.
All good, as is said.
Hope you all have a grand holiday!
See you out there...

Merry Christmas! Thank you all for great information. Back home after a dash to Bodega Bay for a couple nights. What a long drive. :crybaby: Beautiful there. Be safe.

Happy holidays to all from Mammoth Lakes! :christmas

Its really really really windy out there so we're staying in today. Got 3 hikes in and a day on the slopes (((||))) since Friday, so today is a rest day.

HST has grown in the last year, and its been a fun place to come to. It was nice meeting a lot of you, and hope to meet more in the future.:friends

Hope 2007 brings some fun and exciting adventures! Have a safe and Happy New Years! :partyman: \:D/
