Merry Christmas

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Thanks, Steven! I also want to extend my sincere wish for a warm and peaceful Christmas to every HSt-er! Not being as active as I once was, I would like everyone to know how enjoyable it is for me to be able to share everyone's love of the Sierra, and the high county in particular, through the stories, photos, reports, and comments on this network. Thanks to every one who contributes their entusiasm and their particular skills to make this a wonderful place to spend time.

Merry Christmas To All! :p

I don't post very much either but I read the posts most days and would like to thank you all for your pics and posts. I hope everyone gets that little something special under the tree they want.
Good health, Happiness, and Merry Christmas.

I too join with the many friends here and say thanks.
This forum indeed provides daily moments of sanity…
in an otherwise all too crazy and bizarre world.
So to Eric, and all within reading distance –
Merry Christmas & a fantastic New Year.

Merry Christmas to everyone

I would like to thank the people who put this message board together and to everyone who posts on here. I have met some great people though here. The hikes have been fun and the group trips have been well organized. 2007 hope to get a chance to meet more of you.

Almost time to start making my wish list for 2007

Middle Palisade
Mt Sill
the list goes on and on
mountain hiking is addictive:
I can quit anytime I want - I just choose not to want
