When did you do the trip? We have permits for next week but the smoke is making us think twice.

Our trip was July 25-27th, before the fires smoked everything out.

Good for you guys! You have planted a seed and given them memories that will last a lifetime. It was my own such memories that recently brought me pack to the trail after over forty years. Keep it up!
